Candy Corn Wine Bottles

From the moment I saw these on Pinterest, I knew I had to have them!

  1. Have a drink.  Rinse.  Repeat. 🙂 Or, if you’re in a rush, ask your bookclub friends to raid their recycling buckets, like I did.
  2. Wash out bottles and remove labels.  I used Goo Gone.  The label removal is the worst part.  The bottles get greasy and then you still have wash them again with soap and water.
  3. Spray paint the bottles, allowing to dry between coats.  I did the yellow first, then the white, and finished with the orange middles.  If you spray too much, they will drip, so be careful to keep the spray cans at the recommended distance.

I took my pic before adding the orange ribbon-which I had yet to go out to buy.  Mine is on the right, the pinned original (left) can be found on Ashbee Design.  She credits a Curbly post who then credits The Swell Designer for the idea.  Great ideas sure do get around!
